Armor is a game mechanic in nearly all stick war games. It modifies the damage a unit receives from attacks and usually applies to projectiles. Whether a unit is armored or not can be easily distinguished as when hit, an armored unit will make a clunking sound, compared to the flashy sound made by an unarmored one.

Armored Units
The following units are armored:
Stick War / Stick War: Legacy
Stick War II: Order Empire / Stick Empires
Function
Armor works by reducing the amount of damage a unit receives from certain attacks. This applies to most projectiles. In Stick War II: Order Empire and Stick Empires, a metallic clang can be heard that shows that some damage was deflected. The following attacks are reduced by armour.
Stick War
- Archidon arrows
Stick War II: Order Empire/ Stick Empires
- Archidon Arrows
- Albowtross Bolts (Without Blazing Bolts)
- Castle Archer Arrows
- Eclipsor Arrows
However, armor may also increase the damage a unit receives from certain attacks. There are only four confirmed attacks which do additional damage to armor.
Stick War
- Order Giant attacks
Stick War II: Order Empire/ Stick Empires
- Albowtross Blazing Bolts
- Enslaved Giant boulders
- Dead Guts
All attacks not listed here do the same damage regardless of whether or not a unit is armored (e.g. spells). This includes Poison.
