Main article: BowsA bow consists of a semi-rigid but elastic arc with a high-tensile bowstring joining the ends of the two limbs of the bow. An arrow is a projectile with a pointed tip and a long shaft with stabilizer fins (fletching) towards the back, with a narrow notch (nock) at the very end to contact the bowstring.
To load an arrow (or nock it), the bearer places an arrow across the middle of the bow with the bowstring in the arrow's nock. To shoot, the user pulls back the arrow, which also pulls the bowstring and flexes the bow limbs. Finally the wielder releases the arrow, propelling the arrow to fly forward at high velocity.
A container or bag for additional arrows for quick reloading is called a quiver.
An arrow usually consists of a shaft with an arrowhead attached to the front end, with fletchings and a nock at the other. Depending on the material and status of the arrow, the bow could greatly differ in damage, making the arrow one of the most important components to the bow.
Main Article: Archer arrow damage Upgrade
In the original Stick War, the Armory provided a new upgrade slot after completing The War Begins. The Archer arrow damage Upgrade slot could be upgraded 3 times before reaching maximum potential. Generally, the effect was for every one upgrade, the Archidon's arrow would grow 25% stronger, and gain a slightly altered cosmetic.
First Upgrade Edit
The first Archer arrow damage Upgrade changes the basic black arrow, converting the arrowhead and the fletchings to a golden shade of color. As stated before, it does 25% more damage than the original.
Second Upgrade Edit
The second Archer arrow damage Upgrade changes the golden yellow arrow, converting the arrowhead and the fletchings to a venomous green. As stated before, it does 25% more damage than the first upgrade. Unlike the first upgrade, this arrow looks as if it had been laced with acid or some sort of poison.
Third Upgrade Edit
The third and final Archer arrow damage Upgrade changes the venomous green arrow, igniting the arrowhead and setting it ablaze. As stated before, it does 25% more damage than the first upgrade. Unlike previous upgrades, when the arrow reaches the ground many colors shoot off of the arrow before fluttering to the ground.
Skins (Stick War: Legacy) Edit
Exclusive to Stick War: Legacy, the Bow and arrow can receive skins in exchange for gems. These skins can improve the Bow and arrow's performance, accuracy, and the general vital statistics of it's user.
For more information on it's wielder, read the individual Archidon and Supranova Archer articles.
