“ | Powerful wizard who is able to Reap your units away from their formation. | ” |
–Deadkai's Enemy Profile, Stick War: Legacy, |
The Deadkai (also known as the Kai) is an undead spellcaster similar to Marrowkai in Stick War II: Order Empire, Stick Empires, Stick War III.

A Deadkai
Apearance[]
The Deadkai is a hunchbacked, rotting body with a dark teal skin. Its jaws and nostrils are visible, has many cuts in its skin and has a bronze mantle which looks somewhat similar to the design in Marrowkai. It also has a large golden scythe with a two-pronged fork in the bottom and a shiny blade on top.
Abilities[]
Reaper[]
The Deadkai has the ability to summon a reaper that can pull units out of their formation, similar to the Marrowkai's reaper. However, this reaper is smaller and does not inflict damage. When a user-controlled unit is affected by the reaper, the player loses control of that unit's movement, and it will move toward the Deadkai. Nevertheless, the player can still attack with the unit, which will stop its movement during the attack animation (except for Archidons, which must continue moving while drawing an arrow). The reaper prioritizes Archidons first, followed by Miners, and then frontline units if they are close enough.
Summon[]
The Deadkai will kneel and raise his hands upwards, and a Riser Dead will be spawned in front of the Deadkai. It shares this ability with the Kai Rider.
Strategies:[]
Archidons usually aren't effective because the Deadkai targets them first. Instead, use a Giant or a Spearton. They do much more damage and have more health than most other units.
Savage Speartons work well as the stun reduction and speed allow it to get close, and the skin bonus damage plus spear throw can deal good damage.
Trivia[]
- On Mission 49 in Weekly Missions the description says the Kai is the Leader of the Deads.
- The Marrowkai in Stick War III uses the same mantle, scythe, and abilities as the Deadkai, hinting that they may be the same individual.
- The Deadkai seems to be enemies with the Borderland Flame Feeders, as shown in some descriptions in some Weekly Missions (This could mean Wrathnar and Marrowkai are archenemies with each other)
- Considering newest leak of Chaos Campaign, Deadkai IS infact Marrowkai, however flesh didn't fully rot yet.
- However, considering that Stick War 2 events happend before endless deads, it might be wrong.
