The Eclipsor is a Chaos unit introduced in Stick War II: Order Empire. It serves as the air unit of Chaos.



Appearance[]

Eclipsors are similar to Archidons, but have wings and wield longbows. These wings are Organic.

In Stick War III, the Eclipsor's appearance was drastically changed. It now has red eyes, a brow ridges leading into a pair of horns, clawed hands and feet, and a tail ending in a spaded tip, giving it a more demonic appearance.

Description[]

Eclipsors are simple flying ranged units. Unlike the Albowtross, they lack abilities and armor (due to their Organic nature). But they make up for it by their lower cost and higher speed.

Trivia[]

  • Eclipsors have been nerfed in the past with damage reductions and increases in build time(from 16 seconds to 20 seconds). 
  • Eclipsors are weaker than their counterparts, the Albowtrosses, which are armored and have the upgrade 'Blazing Bolts'. However, they are much more nimble.
  • In the alpha and beta versions of Stick Empires, the Eclipsor was labelled in-game as the "Wingidon" which is a portmanteau of the words "wing" and "Archidon." They are still labeled as such in the game's files.
  • In Stick War III, Eclipsors can be hit by Giants.
  • There was a bug in the public Beta test of Stick War III where after an Eclipsor died, its body stayed up in the sky while its wings continued flapping, and then it quickly disappeared. This was fixed in a later update.
  • Eclipsors have an unused upgrade in the code of Stick Empires, which costs 100 Gold and Mana and is likely intended to increase their speed. They also have an unused "Wind" ability that costs 100 Mana and "repels enemy ranged attacks" for about 3.3 seconds, on a 30-second cooldown.
