Infernos acts as the offensive spellcaster unit for the Elementals.

Appearance[]

The Infernos have yellow eyes and a body surrounded by flames. They also have hands made of fire. They are an embodiment of fire (akin to Efreeti).

Abilities[]

Dragon Call[]

Dragon Call summons a dragon 'Vastolis' that will deal moderate damage over an area, as well as stunning any enemies hit by the spell. Once the dragon enters the ground, it will still erupt and deal damage even if the Infernos is killed.

Fire Rain[]

Fire Rain summons a rain of fire that inflicts burn damage to enemies in a small region. Can be upgraded to Meteor Strike to deal increased damage and placed meteor fragments which if stepped on would burn.

Strategies[]

Uses[]

  • Infernos have a highly impractical normal attack. Their normal attacks burn enemies, but their spells are much more practical and the main "selling point" that makes the Infernos useful.
    • Like other spellcasters, Infernos does not respond to attack commands, and will only use their basic attack if there is an enemy in range.
  • The meteor spell can be used to massacre unarmored units and can highly damage armored ones.
  • Dragon Call on the other hand deals less damage and is slower, but it can be used to scare away enemy troops, or quickly turn the tide of a large battle due to it's high splash and stun.

Countering[]

  • While the Infernos is powerful against ground units with low health, it is almost useless against flying units, as the only spell it has that can hit flying units with real damage is the Dragon Call, since Meteor Shower and Fire Rain will just touch them, singing them a little.
  • It is also vulnerable to melee units with high health or assassination units like the Shadowrath, as their Shinobi II are an absolute nightmare to any spellcaster.
    • Be wary of the Cycloid protect, make the Cycloid use it and then attack the Infernos.
  • Both of Infernos's spells are very obviously telegraphed, allowing alert players to move their units out of the way.
  • Using assassins such as V, Medusa, or Shadowrath, can force the infernos back or kill it outright.

Trivia[]

  • Originally, Infernos could not be customized at all with personal armor or appearances, so they did not appear at all in the armory. As of the armory update this has changed, and Infernos appear with armory options.
  • If infernos is at full hp and is hit with a Shinobi II, Infernos will stay alive for a few frames.
