Queen Iris and King Zarek with The Royal Siblings.
The Royal Siblings in the Stick War series are the seven children of King Zarek and Queen Iris of the Order Empire, especially taking a huge part in Stick War: Saga's campaign and storyline. They may serve as leaders of the various Order factions after besting the previous leaders in the Trials of Superiority or by creating a new unit type.
Most of the Royal Siblings appear as playable Generals.
Members[]
- Kytchu (Leader of the Archidons)
- Thera (Leader of the Merics)
- Shade (Founder and leader of the Shadowrath)
- Icaron (Founder and leader of the Albowtrosses)
- Xiphos (Leader of the Swordwrath)
- Adicai (Former leader of the Speartons)
- Atreyos (Leader of the Speartons)
Stick War: Legacy[]
In Stick War: Legacy, the Royal Siblings do not appear in the main campaign.
Atreyos appears as a playable unit in Endless Deads mode. The Atreyos Lives! achievement is awarded if he survives the tenth night.
He was also missing for 10 years. This means that one night in the endless deads is one year, but this is only pure speculation as he could have also deserted the Order Empire due to the Endless Deads incident.
Atreyos and Kytchu also appear in multiple Weekly Missions, usually as playable units, though sometimes as enemies.
Stick War: Saga[]
As Spearos said in the Campaign, They were born after the Nations united and when it was "Good for a while". However, Zarek would eventually plan to replace the previous leaders with the Royal Siblings, to which the former leaders protested. The two parties would eventually come to a compromise by allowing leadership of the tribes to be chosen through ritual combat in the Trials of Superiority. The four former leaders in the Order ranks were bested by Kytchu, Adicai, Thera, and Xiphos. After their defeat, the former leaders would abandon Order and strike out on their own, discovering various ancient powers to augment their loyalist forces. Only Spearos remained loyal to Zarek and served Adicai, the new Spearton leader, faithfully, and after Adicai was killed in battle, it was assumed Spearos would retake his former position due to his leadership and experience. However, Zarek instead assigned the young and inexperienced Atreyos to the position, which enraged Spearos and his loyalists to the point they abandoned Order and established the Glacial Uprising.
In the campaign, Atreyos is absent from the Order forces for most of the campaign, with news articles stating that he has vanished, and either Thera or Xiphos is sent to assist the main commander of Order's expeditionary force against the various former leaders.
Meanwhile, Shade and her Shadowrath are dispatched by Zilaros to watch out for Zarek on his campaign, however Zarek scoffed at her assistance and attempted to attack the Chaos forces with only his personal guard. He would soon be overwhelmed and captured despite the Shadowrath's attempts to hold off the enemy, and Shade was tasked with rescuing him from captivity while the Order commander created a diversion.
Atreyos returns to the Order Empire in time for the campaign against the Borderland Flame Feeders. He arrives to assist the Order commander in the final clash against Wrathnar. After Wrathnar's defeat, he and his forces continued the battle against the mighty Lunarclops. With the commander's assistance, the titanic beast was slain after a fierce battle, allowing Zilaros to transcribe the tablet it carried.Gallery[]
Trivia[]
- Currently, Shade, Icaron, and Adicai are the only siblings who are unplayable in Stick War: Saga.
- While Shade and Adicai appear in cutscenes, Icaron is the only Royal Sibling to not appear in-game (only in book).
- Shade and Icaron are the only siblings without a cape or cloak.
- There's a word going around about Zarek's favoritism, choosing Atreyos as his "favorite son". However, he didn't specifically said anything about his favorites. Zarek only said that he's speaking about Atreyos when he's explaining how he lost him while talking to Marrowkai. It's either he's only worried for Atreyos disappearing without a word, or his favoritism over Atreyos may be true.
- Icaron is the elder son of King Zarek so he should inherit the throne of the Empire of Order, but in his speech to Marrowkai, King Zarek says that his younger son should inherit everything and that is Atreyos.
- Icaron, Shade, and Atreyos are the only Royal Siblings who did not participate in the Trials of Superiority.
