Stick War Wiki

Editing Guidelines

As the wiki has a history of incorrect information and fanfiction, use the following editing guidelines when adding something:

Language and spelling

English:

This is an English wiki, and edits must be in English. Translate/Remove content not in English. (Exception for Etymology if capitalized)

Exception:

For games such as *Stick War II: Order Empire* and *Stick Empires*, it is permissible to use British spelling, specifically for terms like "Armoured," as indicated in the game files.

Edits

Grammar and Style

Correct Grammar:

Write using proper grammar at all times. Capitalize words like "Swordwrath" and "Marrowkai", and use enhanced English for readability. Make use of punctuation marks, and link certain words to other pages.

Formatting:

Use templates, headings, and bullet points properly. Subheadings should be for lesser use or bullet points (Unless it is for Notes or Trivia), while headings should be for main sections.

Headings

Adding these typical headers is recommended: Appearance, History, Etymology, Abilities, Notes/Trivia.

But for atypical pages, they may have different headings.

Foreign Language Terms:

If there are words from other languages (which are not common loanwords in English), e.g., names or words (i.e., for etymology), are used, italicize them.

Images

Every article must have an image. If you do not have artwork, use these images:

Source Verification

Verify sources:

The information must be correct. Preferably, the data should be taken from the game itself. If second-hand facts are the next best available option, one should seek an official source. Theories are normally not encouraged if there is weak proof.

Fanon Content:

If you have content regarding Fanon that you wish to include, please mark it Fanon by putting "Fanon:" as a suffix of the title of the page and sort it within the Fanon category. In most cases the page will be given a "Fanon:" suffix by Moderators or Administrators. In any other case, the page will be removed.

Leaked and Rumored News

No Leaks:

No leaked material shall be posted on the wiki. Any leak-related info shall be removed immediately. Leaked info may only be added if it has been officially leaked by developers.

Official Information:

Information concerning solely the game of any other official release shall be featured solely in case it is from any official release or launch by the developers.

Vandalism and NSFW Content

No Vandalism:

Any sort of vandalism, including adding fake content, will be reverted. Users that attempt this will be banned.

No NSFW Content:

Inappropriate or explicit content should not be used. It should be removed and any individual who adds it will be banned from the wiki.

Loopholes and Exploitation:

No Rule Loopholes:

It is unacceptable to seek loopholes or try and exploit any of these regulations. In addition, it is unacceptable to use any material that is not actually given in order to try and escape any of these editing regulations.

Off Topic Content:

All writing should come from the *Stick War* series. Any other content should be removed.

Staff

Reporting Problems:

If there is a problem or spam, it may be reported at our Discord server, talked about on Fandom, or by private message sent to active staff by means of the Message Wall.

AI and Automation Software

AI Made Content:

The writing of content through the use of AI programs is strictly prohibited. Content written by AI may be incorrect. You can, however, use AI for fanon writing and for correcting grammar.
