Stun is a status effect introduced in Stick War.
Description[]
Stunned units cannot move or attack during the duration of their stun. However, if a spellcaster is stunned while casting a spell, the spell will still be successfully cast (prior to Stick War: Legacy).
Stun is visually indicated by stars circling the stunned unit's head. Starting from Stick War: Legacy, animations are added that show units being knocked down while stunned, and units cannot receive further stuns while in the stun animation (and a short duration afterward in Stick War III).
The following units are immune to stun:
- All forms of Giants (except Massive Deads)
- Riprider

Notes[]
- In Stick War: Legacy, to show stun, a unit would be lifted upwards by great force and fall down on their front.
- However, when a unit gets stunned by the Spearton headbutt attack, they fall back instead of up and down. This stun animation is reused in Stick War III for stuns inflicted by Leap, Parry, and Stand In.
