Skins are a game mechanic in Stick War: Legacy and Stick Empires and Stick War 3 that allows you to cosmetically alter units. In Stick War: Legacy, the skins provide a buff.

Stick Empires[]

In Stick Empires, Skins (otherwise known as Items) are bought by Empire Coins in the Armory. These are grouped into Weapons, Armor (Armor in-game), and Miscellaneous (Misc in-game).

Each weapon is an item that must be bought separately

Stick War: Legacy[]

Unlike in other games, skins in Stick War: Legacy grant bonuses to equipped units and Statues.

Main page: Skins/Stick War: Legacy

Stick War 3[]

Stick War 3's skins are all of the skins from legacy, but without the effects that Legacy's skins grant. Like the system in Stick Empires, each skin has been divided into a number of separate items occupying various slots on the wearing unit, allowing cosmetics from multiple skins to be mixed and matched.

In SW3, there are many new types of skins as following

  • Overgrowz
  • Molten Blades
  • Goldentree
  • Subzeroz
  • Bonelord
  • Redblades
  • Metalions
  • Scalions
  • Cyberunks

and more to come

Notes[]

  • Giants were the last unit to receive skins, now rounding out the set and allowing all Order units (in Stick War: Legacy, and excluding Merics) to wear skins.
  • The Classic, Leaf, Ice, Savage, and Lava skins are available in the Order armory in Stick Empires, while the Vamp skin belongs to Chaos. Unlike Stick War: Legacy however, these skins have no effect and are merely cosmetic.
  • When Giant skins were added, Griffon the Great was granted the “Earthquake“ ability.
  • If the player has the same skin equipped on every unit the statue gets a special look specific to that skin.
