–V, Stick Empires, | ||
V is the leader and founder of the Elemental Empire. He is also the founder of the Order Empire and, indirectly, the Chaos Empire.
Description[]
V is shaped like any other stick figure. It has a glowing black border around it, a pure white body, and a slight black fade on his head when in battle. However, in the units slot, V is shown to be a humanoid, liquid-like mixture of gray and dark gray
History[]
V was the original being of the Stick War universe, possessing nigh-omnipotent power but no companions. As such, once he awoke from his slumber, V sent his thousand eyes into the universe, forming the stars and planets, and he named one Inamorta, and chose it for his final resting place. He created Earth and Water in his image, and they took up residence on land and in the oceans of Inamorta respectively. However, contrary to his wish for harmony, Earth and Water instead began an escalating series of conflicts instead. Enraged, V created a third element, Fire, to scourge those who opposed his will; however, Fire was fueled by his hate and spite and proved impossible to control, burning everything. In a desperate attempt to restore balance, V created the benevolent Air element, but even they were not able to stop Fire. Fire founded the Chaos Empire, and in one final act of desperation, V responded to the prayers of Air by stripping himself of godhood and founding Order on Inamorta
Abilities[]
Flash[]
V teleports a short distance.
Clone[]
Creates two clones of V that deal 66%/100% of V's attack damage at Level 1/2. Clones are visually distinguishable from the real V and last indefinitely.
Possess[]
Channels to take control of an enemy unit. V becomes immobile. Issuing another command to V or killing it will break the channeling and end the ability.
Strategies[]
Uses[]
- V is a very powerful spellcaster, being the only spellcaster other than Cycloid that can move at a fast pace, and it can even teleport out of danger.
- Its main ability is Possess, which allows it to not only remove an enemy spellcaster or giant, but turn them to your side. Possess can also be used to get rid of key units, as possessed units take damage from their own army. Possessing units such as the Magikill just before they complete a spell cast such as Blast will also mean their spell cast does not damage the player using the V and will instead damage the opponent.
- However it is highly recommended to possess a unit such as Shadowrath or Medusa before possessing the other spellcaster so you can assassinate their spellcaster while also depriving them of their best chance to counter V.
- Clones can be used as a distraction and a tank. Upgraded clones deal very powerful melee attacks and can be used effectively as a front line melee unit. Whenever it is not possessing a unit, the V also has extremely powerful melee attacks, being able to kill an archer in two hits. This gives V potential to do extreme damage while being extremely hard to kill.
- Massing Vs is another strategy that gives the player an ability to spawn many clones to cause a distraction while having the ability to possess multiple enemy units.
Counter[]
- V cannot move while possessing, so units such as Shadowrath, Medusa, Marrowkai and allied V's can kill Reap or possess the target V.
- Massing weaker units such as Archidons will reduce Possess's effectiveness, as there will be few to no valuable targets to possess. If the V wastes its ability on a one of the massed units, they can be easily be slaughtered by the mass and replaced without much hassle.
- Hiding spellcasters behind units or out of V's vision/range can protect them from being possessed.
- Unpossessed spellcasters, tanks, and ranged units can snipe/rush the V, forcing him to retreat and surrender control of the possessed unit.
- V is expensive, so economy harassment is also viable to prevent the V from forming.
Notes[]
- The V's possessed units can always cast spells and use abilities provided they are off cooldown and you have the mana for them, but stolen miners will not mine for you or gather gold. (reference)
- V had hard to distinguish identical clones until Patch 2.01 came wherein the clones now have a purple-blue outline.
- V can take control of miners, but the controlled miner in question is not able to build walls.
- V cannot possess castle archers, as well as garrisoned units.
- V can possess walls, however doing so will crash the game.
Trivia[]
- The V is the third white stick figure in the game (instead of black). All other stick figures in the game are black apart from Merics and Marrowkai.
- The V is the most population-consuming unit in Stick Empires, taking up 10 population.
- In Roman numerals, V stands for 5, which might be a reference to the movie "The Fifth Element."
- In the game's files, V is named "chrome" or "ChromeElement", implying it may be metallic in nature.
- According to the ending of Stick War: Saga's campaign, V is the creator of Inamorta and also the founder of the Order and Elemental Empires.
- As his creations, the Fire Elementals, created the Chaos Empire, he is also indirectly responsible for the creation of the Chaos.
- Strangely, V can sometimes be formed even with insufficient Mana, causing you to go negative.
- V may have some relation to Lunarclops (speculative).
- V's story of how they created the Stick War universe and Inamorta is in the Poem that Lunarclops carries on Its back.
- V is the most costly unit in Stick Empires
